Fox Linen

Kochi FabricL9133-02

Fox Linen is a quietly textured plain with a soft flax-cream appearance and a gently mottled surface. The weave reads light and natural, with a warm neutral depth rather than a stark white finish.

About this fabric

Woven in a 138cm approx width, Fox Linen is composed of 38% linen, 37% cotton, 20% acrylic, 3% polyester and 2% polyamide. The cloth has a fine, open-looking texture with subtle horizontal striations that give the surface a softly slubbed, textile feel. Its pale flax cream tone sits between ivory and oat, with enough warmth to keep it from reading cool or stark. With a 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat, it presents as an easy plain for schemes that want texture without pattern. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code make it a practical decorative textile for everyday interior use.

How to use it

Use this soft cream colourway to lift darker timber, rattan or walnut pieces without adding contrast that feels sharp. It suits relaxed upholstery or curtains where a gentle natural tone is needed to soften the room.

A calm flax-toned neutral that works easily across seating and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
