Montana Spice

Arizona FabricL9352-13

Montana Spice is a warm, textural orange with a deep rust-brown cast and a softly mottled surface. The colour reads earthy rather than bright, with a dry, brushed look that gives the swatch depth.

About this fabric

Montana Spice from Larsen’s Arizona collection is a 138cm approx wide fabric in 48% viscose, 45% cotton and 7% linen. The close plain weave shows a fine, irregular texture with no repeat, so the surface feels calm and continuous. In this colourway, the spice tone sits between burnt orange and terracotta, with darker brown notes that pool in the weave and soften the overall effect. The finish feels substantial enough for upholstery, while still having enough softness in the cloth to keep the look relaxed.

How to use it

This shade works well on occasional chairs, banquettes or cushions where a warm, grounded orange is needed. Pair it with natural woods, tobacco leather and warm neutrals to keep the colour rich and inviting.

Use it to warm up clean-lined seating or add depth to a rustic scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
