Asta Amethyst is a softly textured fabric with a muted purple ground that reads as amethyst rather than bright violet. Its fine, even surface gives the colour a calm, slightly heathered depth.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and measuring approx. 140cm wide, Asta Amethyst has a practical, smooth handle and no repeat, making it straightforward to use across a scheme. The colour sits between plum and mauve, with a softened greyed undertone that keeps it elegant rather than jewel-bright. Visually, the cloth has a subtle peppered texture that catches the light in small variations across the surface. With fire code K and care code C 8 + T 3, it is a versatile option for interiors where a composed purple tone is wanted without excessive pattern.

How to use it

Use this amethyst shade to add richness to neutral upholstery, or let it frame curtains and cushions against stone, taupe or warm white walls. It works especially well where you want colour with restraint and a gently tailored feel.

A quietly refined purple that brings depth without overpowering a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
