Venice Fawn

Monterey Collection FabricVENICE

Venice Fawn shows a very fine vertical stripe over a warm fawn ground, giving the fabric a soft tailored look. The narrow repeat keeps the pattern subtle and easy to read from a distance.

About this fabric

Woven in 64% cotton and 36% polyester, Venice Fawn is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 40,000 rub test and a 136cm width. The stripe is tightly set and fine in scale, creating a neat linear surface rather than a bold decorative band. In this colourway, the fawn ground reads as a mellow beige with a gentle warm cast, while the paler stripes add a slightly chalky contrast. At 528 grams per linear metre, it has enough body for structured soft furnishings while still keeping the crisp, tailored feel visible in the photo.

How to use it

Use Venice Fawn where you want a quiet neutral with a little pattern movement, such as banquettes, loose covers or lined curtains. Its warm beige tone pairs especially well with oak, taupe and off-white finishes.

A restrained fawn stripe that brings quiet warmth to upholstery or drapes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Venice Fawn without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
