Positano Sage

Monterey Collection FabricPOSITANO

Positano Sage is a softly toned striped fabric with a calm, herbal green sitting over a warm ivory ground. The narrow vertical pattern reads crisp but understated, with just enough texture to give the stripes a hand-finished feel.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 58% cotton and 42% polyester, Positano Sage is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, and its 50,000 rub test supports that practical brief. The 137cm width and 319gsm weight make it a versatile mid-weight cloth, while the 9cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the stripe easy to plan for both seating and window treatments. Visually, the sage bands are muted rather than bright, so the design feels fresh and relaxed instead of sharp or nautical. Fine pinstripes and slightly varied stripe widths add rhythm without making the pattern feel busy.

How to use it

Use this sage stripe to bring a light, tailored note to dining chairs, armchairs or Roman blinds, especially where you want colour without heaviness. It pairs naturally with pale oak, chalk white and warm stone, letting the soft green read as calm and airy.

A fresh sage stripe that works well on tailored upholstery or easy drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
