About this fabric

Woven in 58% cotton and 42% polyester, this Ashley Wilde fabric is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 50,000 rub test and a 137cm width. The stripe pattern has a small 9cm repeat, and the narrow vertical lines create a light, rhythmic surface that feels refined rather than busy. Visually, the colourway balances creamy ivory, pale beige and cool denim accents, so the overall effect is fresh, coastal and quietly classic. At 437gsm, it has enough substance for structured upholstery while still suiting curtains and blinds where a neat striped fall is desired. Made in India, it has a substantial, dependable handle that suits busy interiors.

How to use it

Use Positano Denim on a sofa, armchair or tailored bench to bring a relaxed nautical note without going overly coastal. It also works well as full-length curtains where the soft cream ground will brighten a room and the blue pinstripes add gentle vertical lift.
