Arta Terracotta

Palma Collection FabricARTA

Arta Terracotta pairs a creamy ground with a small geometric motif and warm terracotta-gold highlights. The pattern reads crisp and orderly, with a softly woven texture that keeps the design feeling approachable.

About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 85% cotton and 15% linen, Arta Terracotta is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a substantial 364 g/lm weight, 140cm width and a 45,000 rub test. The visible design is a traditional small-scale diamond motif in muted beige and taupe, lifted by tiny terracotta dots that add warmth without overpowering the ground. Its dry, tactile surface and closely worked weave suit the fabric’s structured look, while the repeat of 13cm vertical and 11.5cm horizontal helps the pattern sit neatly on larger furnishings. The overall colourway feels warm-neutral rather than strongly red, making it easy to place in schemes that need a gentle earthy accent.

How to use it

This colourway works well on compact seating, dining chairs or curtains in rooms with oak, limestone or aged brass. The terracotta notes bring life to the neutral base, so it pairs especially well with sand, taupe and soft green accents.

Use for tailored upholstery or elegant drapes where you want a soft traditional pattern with a warm accent.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Arta Terracotta without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
