Waltham Rose Gold

Essential Weaves Vol 2 FabricEWV2WALTHAM

Waltham Rose Gold has a warm terracotta-rose ground overlaid with a fine, silvery vine-like weave that catches the light. The result is softly metallic rather than flashy, with a delicate textured look across the surface.

About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 2 collection, Waltham Rose Gold is a 100% polyester fabric made for drapes only. The cloth is 140cm wide and has a 25cm vertical repeat and 24cm horizontal repeat, which suit the trailing, all-over network visible in the design. Its 357 grams per linear metre weight gives the fabric a substantial feel, while the 255 grams per square metre construction supports a neat, hanging drape. In this colourway, the ground reads as a muted rosy terracotta with a warm metallic cast, while the raised pattern appears pale silver and slightly chalky against it.

How to use it

Use it for curtains in rooms that need warmth without heavy colour, especially alongside ivory, taupe or light oak. The rose-gold ground looks particularly elegant in filtered daylight, where the fine pattern becomes softly luminous.

Pair with warm neutrals and pale woods to keep the metallic sheen feeling soft.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Waltham Rose Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
