Odin Moutarde

Viggo FabricM4133-07

Odin Moutarde shows a finely peppered woven surface in a warm mustard-gold shade with a softly heathered look. The small-scale texture gives it an inviting, tactile presence rather than a flat solid.

About this fabric

This Viggo fabric by Manuel Canovas has a compact woven character with a dry, lightly slubbed handle visible across the surface. The colourway reads as a muted moutarde: golden ochre with beige and apricot notes that soften the overall effect. Its 138cm approximate width and composition of 50% viscose, 27% cotton, 18% linen and 5% polyester make it a versatile textile for upholstery projects where texture matters. The repeat is effectively plain, at V 0cm / H 0cm approx, so the interest comes from the weave and colour depth rather than motif.

How to use it

Use this warm mustard on a small sofa, dining chairs or a curved ottoman to bring colour without harshness. It works especially well with oak, aged brass and pale stone tones.

Pair with chalky neutrals or tobacco leather to let the warm mustard tone glow.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
