Lucio Navy

Portofino Collection FabricLUCIO

Lucio Navy is a deep, cool navy plain with a subtly ribbed surface that gives the cloth quiet depth. The close vertical striation keeps the colour looking tailored and precise rather than flat.

About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 88% polyester and 12% nylon, this fabric is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 40,000 rub test and a 145cm width. The surface reads as a dark navy with a gently shadowed finish, while the fine vertical texture adds movement without introducing a visible pattern. Its 250gsm weight and 363 grams per linear metre give it enough substance for seating, yet it still hangs with the clean discipline expected of a smart drapery cloth. Horizontal repeat is minimal at 0.5cm, so the overall effect remains almost entirely plain and tailored.

How to use it

Use this navy to anchor pale woods, brushed metals, and crisp neutrals where a sharper, more architectural feel is wanted. It is particularly effective on upholstered dining chairs, banquettes, or full-height curtains in a scheme that benefits from depth rather than brightness.

A refined navy plain that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or elegant drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
