About this fabric

This colourway from Fryett's Fabrics' Magma collection is a fabric with a 140cm width, a 27cm vertical repeat and a 35cm horizontal repeat. The design layers wide vertical blocks and rounded arch forms in deep emerald green, muted olive, soft cream and warm beige, creating a stepped pattern that feels both graphic and tactile. The 61% polyester and 39% viscose composition helps the surface keep a crisp, woven look while the tones shift from rich and shadowy to lighter, sun-washed notes across the repeat. It feels substantial enough for upholstery, with the visible texture and pattern scale giving it plenty of presence on a chair, headboard or statement cushion.

How to use it

Use Cordoba Emerald on a tailored armchair or banquette where its large-scale geometry can be seen clearly. It works especially well with oak, brass and plain linens, letting the emerald and taupe palette anchor a smart room.

Pair with warm neutrals and simple shapes to let the bold woven motif lead.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
