Arezzo Slate

Portofino Collection FabricAREZZO

Arezzo Slate is a smooth plain in a cool, muted grey that reads calm and tailored in the swatch. The tone sits neatly between graphite and pebble, with a soft, even surface that keeps the colour looking understated rather than flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Arezzo Slate is specified for general domestic upholstery and drapes, and its 25,000 rub test makes it a practical choice for everyday use. The 142cm width gives good flexibility for both larger upholstered pieces and window projects. Visually, the colour is a cool slate grey with a gentle mid-tone depth, and the plain weave has a softly brushed look that takes light subtly rather than reflecting it sharply. At 724 grams per linear metre and 510 grams per square metre, it has the substantial feel you would expect from a versatile fabric for seating as well as curtains.

How to use it

Use this slate grey to ground pale timber, crisp white and black accents, or pair it with deeper blues for a restrained scheme. It is especially effective where you want a smart, contemporary neutral without the warmth of beige or taupe.

A clean slate grey that works well on tailored upholstery or relaxed drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
