Kew River

Tahiti Collection FabricKEW

Kew River brings a dense, painterly botanical scene over a deep slate-blue ground. The design feels layered and atmospheric, with pale foliage, white blossoms and small animal details woven through the pattern.

About this fabric

This Ashley Wilde fabric from the Tahiti Collection is made from 100% polyester and is specified for general domestic upholstery and drapes. The 140 cm width and 25,000 rub test make it a practical choice for everyday interiors, while the 390 gsm weight gives it a substantial, furnishing-grade handle. Visually, the colourway is a muted blue with smoky grey depth, which keeps the tropical leaves and florals feeling tonal rather than bright. Cream, ivory and soft ochre highlights lift the surface, and the overall effect is rich, calm and slightly moody.

How to use it

Use it on a statement armchair, upholstered ottoman or relaxed curtains where the deep blue ground can settle into the room. It works especially well with oak, dark timber and linen in warm neutrals.

Pair with warm neutrals and natural woods to let the painterly foliage and soft blue ground stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
