Gospiana Purple shows a loose watercolour meadow of blossom and seed heads scattered across a pale ground. The purple notes are soft and misted, with pastel petals and cool stems giving the design a light, painterly finish.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in a 95% cotton, 5% linen blend and has a reassuring 230gsm weight, which gives it enough substance for curtains and blinds while keeping the handle soft. The printed design is a large-scale botanical with a 68cm horizontal repeat and 69.8cm vertical repeat, so the floral sprays read with an open, spacious rhythm. In this colourway the purple is gentle rather than saturated, sitting among lilac, mauve and blue-grey tones with hints of blush, sage and pale ochre on a clean light ground. The overall effect is airy and muted, with the watercolour edges softening the pattern and letting the fabric feel fresh rather than heavy. Dry clean only; cool iron.

How to use it

Use Gospiana Purple where you want a soft, romantic accent without overpowering the room, especially in bedrooms, sitting rooms or garden-facing spaces. It pairs well with chalky whites, pale greys and washed woods, letting the lilac tones stay calm and luminous.
