Correa purple

Hibbertiameadows Fabriccorreac/fa1/iro

Correa Purple shows a painterly scatter of leaf-like ovals in softened lilac, mauve, sage and misty blue-grey on a pale ground. The overall effect is airy and watercolour-led, with the purple notes reading quietly rather than bold.

About this fabric

This fabric is made from 95% cotton and 5% linen, with a usable width of 140cm, a total width of 145cm and a weight of 230gsm, so it sits comfortably in the mid-weight category. The design has a large 69cm horizontal repeat and 47.5cm vertical repeat, which suits the open, floating placement of the motif across the cloth. In this colourway, the purple appears as soft lilac and mauve shading rather than a saturated plum, with pale ground space keeping the pattern feeling light. Dry clean only and iron safe, it is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings.

How to use it

Use Correa Purple where you want a gentle wash of colour rather than a strong statement; it works well with chalky neutrals, weathered wood and muted green accents. The cool lilac and blue-grey tones will soften daylight in curtains and translate neatly into relaxed cushions or blinds.

Use to bring a gentle painterly statement to curtains or occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
