Triadic Coast Blue

Triadic Coast Blue has a deep, cool slate-blue ground crossed by tightly packed blue-grey angular lines. The small repeating zigzag weave gives the surface a precise, graphic rhythm without overpowering its dark tone.

About this fabric

This heavyweight fabric weighs 738 gsm and has a dense construction of 73 threads per cm, making it a strong choice for upholstered seating. Its compact geometric pattern repeats every 9.1 cm vertically and 7 cm horizontally, creating an even chevron-like texture across the cloth. The dark blue ground absorbs the light, while the lighter woven lines pick out the pattern with a subtle, dimensional contrast. It is supplied at a usable width of 139 cm, with a standard length of 25 m.

How to use it

Use this cool slate-blue colourway on a structured armchair, sofa or dining seat where its small-scale geometry can read as texture from a distance. Balance the dark woven ground with warm oak, chalky neutrals or muted blue-grey accents.

Pair the deep slate-blue ground with pale timber, charcoal or brushed metal for a cool, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
