About this fabric

The close-set design forms interlocking zigzags and chevrons, with pale lines tracing the deeper rosewood ground in a clear but restrained contrast. The colour reads as a warm, dusty brown with a subtle mauve-red cast rather than a bright red, giving the pattern depth without harshness. At 738 gsm and 139 cm wide, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstered furniture. Its 9.1 cm vertical repeat and 7 cm horizontal repeat keep the small-scale geometry consistent across the surface, while the 73 threads-per-centimetre construction supports its dense visual texture.

How to use it

Use Triadic Rosewood on a statement armchair, dining chairs or a compact sofa where its small chevron repeat can add pattern without overwhelming the room. Pair the dusty rosewood tone with pale taupe, warm ivory, walnut or aged brass for a layered, settled scheme.

Use this weighty rosewood geometric to bring patterned depth to upholstery, with pale lines adding definition.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
