About this fabric

The colourway combines deep burnt umber with lighter rust-brown lines, giving the compact stepped-chevron pattern warmth and visual depth rather than a flat block of colour. At 738 gsm and 73 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial, closely constructed feel suited to upholstery. The geometric repeat measures 9.1 cm vertically by 7 cm horizontally, keeping the directional pattern finely scaled across the 139 cm usable width. Standard lengths are 25 metres.

How to use it

Use this warm burnt umber on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its small-scale geometry can add texture without overwhelming the room. Pair it with tobacco leather, dark timber, aged brass or softened neutral walls to draw out its earthy depth.

A substantial woven geometric for tailored upholstery, bringing warm brown depth and fine directional movement.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
