Triadic Neptune

Momentum 13 Fabrics FabricHAF0420-04

Triadic Neptune is a cool grey woven textile covered in a tightly repeated zigzag motif. Its fine light-and-dark contrast gives the surface a precise, almost architectural rhythm, while the close weave reads as substantial in the swatch.

About this fabric

The colourway combines a slate-grey ground with lighter grey lines that form compact chevrons across the cloth, creating a restrained monochrome effect rather than a high-contrast graphic. At 738 gsm, it is a notably weighty fabric suited to upholstery, with a dense construction of 73 threads per cm. The pattern repeats over 9.1 cm vertically and 7 cm horizontally, so the small-scale geometry remains consistent across a chair, headboard or sofa panel. The 139 cm usable width and 25 m standard length provide practical quantities for larger upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Triadic Neptune on contemporary seating where its cool slate tone can balance pale timber, brushed metal or soft neutral walls. The compact zigzag adds texture and movement without introducing a separate accent colour.

The cool slate-grey ground and tightly woven zigzag pattern suit contemporary upholstered seating and tailored occasional pieces.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Triadic Neptune without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
