About this fabric

This lightweight drapery fabric has a usable width of 297 cm and weighs 72 gsm, making its open, airy handle particularly suited to curtains and sheers. Vertical stripes alternate between clear pale bands, cool steel-grey sections and warmer stone-toned strips, with softly feathered transitions visible along several edges. The design has a 67.5 cm vertical repeat and a 63 cm horizontal repeat, while the 108 threads per cm specification reflects its finely constructed surface. Its standard length is 50 m for larger window-treatment projects.

How to use it

Use Steel/Stone at full drop to soften strong daylight without losing the cool grey-and-stone palette. It pairs especially well with chalky whites, pale timber and restrained grey upholstery, where the alternating stripes can read as both light and structure.

A fine, translucent stripe with cool steel-grey depth and pale stone accents, suited to softly filtered window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kamida Steel/Stone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
