About this fabric

At 115 gsm, this is a lightweight drapery fabric with a fluid, translucent appearance rather than an upholstery-weight handle. The soft ivory ground is crossed by broad horizontal bands of charcoal and steel grey, with feathery edges that give the check a hand-drawn, uneven quality. Fine vertical striations are visible throughout the cloth, adding a delicate linear texture and allowing the darker areas to catch and diffuse the light. The pattern repeats over 160 cm vertically and 23 cm horizontally, while the 297 cm usable width is suited to wide curtain drops.

How to use it

Use Masato Charcoal/Steel for full-height curtains where its cool ivory ground can filter daylight and its charcoal-steel bands can echo dark metal, graphite or grey upholstery. The large, softened check brings structure without making the window treatment feel heavy.
