Concept Bluebell

Momentum Velvets Edit VelvetHAF0024-06

Concept Bluebell combines a cool, bluebell-toned ground with fine pale lines forming an interlocking maze pattern. The velvet surface gives the blue a softly shaded depth, while the angular motif remains crisp across the swatch.

About this fabric

This Harlequin velvet has a 140 cm usable width and a substantial 585 gsm weight, giving the cloth a dense, upholstery-led presence. Its muted blue-teal ground reads cool rather than vivid, with the pile creating gentle shifts between deeper blue and lighter slate as it catches the light. Repeating angular pathways are picked out in pale blue-grey lines, creating a controlled geometric rhythm without a separate horizontal repeat. The supplied vertical pattern repeat is 16.5 cm, and the fabric is supplied in a standard 25 m length with 65 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use Concept Bluebell on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its cool blue depth can anchor pale timber, chalky neutrals and brushed metal. The compact maze pattern also suits cushions or contrast panels when a room needs precise geometry rather than a bold, high-contrast statement.

A substantial blue velvet with a softly tactile surface and crisp linear maze geometry for tailored upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Concept Bluebell without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
