Calais Sage

Calais Fabric

Calais Sage reads as a muted sage-olive with a soft, dry matte look and a fine, evenly woven surface. The colour feels calm and grounded rather than bright, with a gentle depth that settles easily into a room.

About this fabric

This colourway from Warwick’s Calais collection is a plain curtaining fabric made from 52% recycled polyester and 48% polyester. At 300 cm wide, it is well suited to wide drops and cleaner curtain make-ups with fewer joins. The surface weave is fine and tightly regular, giving the cloth a quiet texture that softens the sage tone without making it look heavy. In the image, the shade sits between green and olive with a subtle grey cast, so it feels restrained, natural and slightly earthy.

How to use it

Use Calais Sage for full-length curtains, sheers paired with privacy layers, or simple Roman blinds where the muted green can read softly against painted plaster or timber. It works especially well with stone, sand and warm oak because the colour has enough grey in it to stay understated.

A soft sage-olive cloth that brings an easy, natural calm to curtains and loose drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
