Chicago Fabric

Chicago Natural shows a softly structured geometric chevron in layered ivory and sand tones. The pattern reads crisp but understated, with a dry woven texture that keeps the colourway feeling calm and grounded.

About this fabric

This upholstery fabric is composed of 57% viscose, 23% polyester, 14% cotton and 6% linen, giving the surface a gently textured, tailored feel. The 9 cm horizontal and vertical repeat forms a bold interlocking chevron, but the natural palette keeps the design subtle rather than high-contrast. In this colourway, the lighter cream ground sits against slightly deeper beige lines, creating a warm, tonal effect that catches the light softly across the weave. With a width of 137 cm and a Martindale rub test of 30,000, it is well suited to practical seating where a refined, neutral pattern is needed.

How to use it

Use Chicago Natural on an armchair, sofa or ottoman when you want pattern without losing a light, airy palette. It pairs especially well with pale oak, limestone, and muted linen accents.

A calm, textural neutral that brings quiet pattern to everyday seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
