Chunki Roche Fabric

Chunki Roche Pumice is a softly mottled grey fabric with a fine, pebble-like texture that reads calm and understated. The colour sits between pale stone and warm putty, giving it a gentle, grounded feel.

About this fabric

This Pumice colourway shows a compact woven surface with tiny flecks of lighter and darker yarns, which gives the cloth a dry, textural look rather than a flat solid finish. The overall tone is a muted grey-beige, cooler at a glance but softened by warm undertones that stop it feeling stark. As a Warwick fabric from the Chunki Roche collection, it is presented here with no performance features noted, so the appeal is in its versatile appearance and tactile weave. The small-scale texture helps it hold interest on seating while still staying visually quiet.

How to use it

Use it on a sofa or armchair where you want a pale neutral that won’t dominate the room. It pairs neatly with timber, plaster, black metal and deeper greys for a layered, contemporary scheme.

A calm neutral that layers easily with oak, stone and deeper charcoal accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
