About this fabric

This Slate colourway has a dark, cool grey ground that sits between charcoal and stormy graphite, giving the surface a restrained, urban feel. The compact woven texture is clearly visible in the swatch, adding depth without any obvious pattern. As a textile in the Warwick Chunki Roche collection, it is presented here as a Fabric with no performance features noted. The close weave and weighty look make it especially suitable for upholstery, where the muted slate tone can hold its own on larger pieces.

How to use it

Use this slate shade on sofas, dining chairs or ottomans where you want a smart, low-contrast finish. It pairs naturally with pale oak, black metal and soft greys for a calm, contemporary room.

A cool, grounded slate that works well on tailored seating and clean-lined schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
