Reece Oatmeal

Reece FabricJ0268-04

Reece Oatmeal is a quietly textured plain fabric in a soft oatmeal cream, with the natural slub of cotton and linen visible across the surface. Its light, warm tone reads calm and easy, without appearing stark or yellow.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a gentle oatmeal cream with a slightly warm cast, softened by the matte texture of the cotton-linen weave. The plain design has no visible repeat, making the fabric feel clean and versatile rather than patterned. Woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen, it has the relaxed, natural character you would expect from those fibres, while the 142cm approximate width supports straightforward tailoring. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code add practical reassurance for interiors use.

How to use it

Use Reece Oatmeal for relaxed upholstery, tailored loose covers or simple curtains where you want a bright neutral that still feels warm. It works especially well with oak, rattan, chalk paint and other quiet natural finishes.

A warm, understated neutral that layers easily with timber, linen and pale stone.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
