About this fabric

Woven in 70% cotton and 30% linen, Reece Navy has the soft, natural handle you expect from a cotton-linen blend, with a subtle texture visible across the cloth. The shade reads as a dark navy with cool undertones, sitting close to charcoal in lower light and showing a faint blue depth when it catches the light. With a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx and a width of 142cm approx, it presents as a straightforward plain cloth rather than a patterned design. The overall effect is smart and restrained, making the colour itself the main feature.

How to use it

Use this navy on tailored upholstery, cushions or bench seating where a strong, dark anchor is needed. It pairs neatly with pale timber, chalky neutrals and crisp white for a sharp, modern contrast.

A rich, understated navy that works well as a grounded neutral in tailored schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
