Reece Ocean is a quietly washed blue with a gentle grey cast, giving the plain cloth a cool, airy feel. The surface looks softly woven rather than flat, with the linen content lending a dry, natural look.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted ocean blue softened with grey, so it feels calm rather than bright. The 70% cotton and 30% linen composition gives the fabric a lightly textured, casual hand, while the 142cm width and no-repeat construction make it straightforward to use across larger schemes. Visually, the cloth has a fine, even weave with a subtle matte finish that catches the light gently instead of shining. The BM fire code is supplied for this exact fabric, and the overall effect is a versatile plain suitable for relaxed interiors.

How to use it

Use Reece Ocean on clean-lined upholstery, loose covers or Roman blinds where its misty blue tone can stay soft and unfussy. It pairs especially well with white timber, chalky neutrals and weathered oak.

A calm blue-grey that works neatly on upholstery or soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
