About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and specified for drapes only, Rora Caramel has the character of a decorative curtain cloth rather than a heavy upholstery textile. The 140cm width and 42cm vertical by 46cm horizontal pattern repeat suit a repeating animal design with a considered, easy-to-hang rhythm. Visually, the ground is a smooth caramel-beige with a low-contrast, understated warmth, while the dogs are picked out in cream, tan, black and chestnut so the print stays playful but calm. At 308gsm, it has enough substance to hang with presence, yet the overall look remains light and country-house relaxed.

How to use it

Use this colourway for café curtains, full-length drapes or a blind in a relaxed sitting room where the warm beige ground can soften wood and painted finishes. It pairs well with natural linens, muted greens and aged brass if you want the dog motif to feel collected rather than novelty-driven.

A warm, playful neutral that works beautifully in light-filled rooms and keeps the dog motif feeling tailored.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Rora Caramel without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
