Koto Stone

Reflect Fabrics FabricHAF0056-01

Koto Stone has a muted stone-grey ground crossed by a delicate network of pale, intersecting lines. Its low-contrast surface reads calm and softly textured rather than boldly graphic.

About this fabric

This 318 gsm fabric has a substantial mid-weight presence, while the fine linear design remains visually light across the surface. The stone-grey tone sits between cool grey and gentle taupe, with pale threads catching the light subtly against the deeper ground. Its pattern repeats every 48 cm vertically and 32.5 cm horizontally, creating an all-over web of irregular angular lines rather than a single focal motif. With a 128 cm usable width and 67 threads per cm, it offers a closely woven appearance for upholstery or drapery applications.

How to use it

Use Koto Stone on a tailored chair, ottoman or full-length curtain where its soft grey-taupe tone can anchor warmer ivory, natural wood and brushed metal accents. The restrained linework also works well as a quiet textural layer in a tonal neutral room.

A quiet stone-grey textile with fine pale linework, suited to tailored upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Koto Stone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
