About this fabric

The restrained grey-and-white palette gives this colourway a distinctly cool, even depth, while the light lines remain sharply visible against the steel ground. Its repeated zigzags run vertically across the cloth, forming a regular geometric rhythm rather than a soft or organic motif. At 290 gsm and 138 cm usable width, Moriko Steel is a versatile mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The listed pattern repeat is 65 cm vertically by 24 cm horizontally, and the cloth has 129 threads per centimetre.

How to use it

Use Moriko Steel where a cool grey foundation and strong linear pattern can sharpen a room scheme, such as on a tailored armchair, bench or full-length curtain. Pair it with white, charcoal and pale timber for a crisp contemporary look, or soften the contrast with warm neutrals.

Use the cool steel-grey ground and crisp white chevrons to bring graphic definition to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
