About this fabric

The swatch shows a closely packed, plush surface in a muted brown-taupe tone, with the nap catching the light in broad pale bands and settling into richer umber shading. At 814gsm, it has a substantial weight suited to hard-wearing upholstery rather than lightweight window treatments. The usable width is 141cm, and both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0cm, confirming a plain, pattern-free construction. Its warm, subdued colouring gives the velvet a quietly luxurious character without the high contrast of a brighter or more saturated shade.

How to use it

Use this warm antelope taupe on a sofa, club chair or upholstered headboard where its plush pile can show changing light across the surface. Pair it with cream, walnut and aged brass for a softly earthy scheme, or use darker brown accents to draw out its deeper nap.
