About this fabric

The design is formed from rounded, interlocking contours that create organic, maze-like shapes across the cloth. In this Truffle colourway, the pattern reads as a quiet relief in pale taupe and warm beige, rather than a strong graphic contrast. The raised lines catch the light gently against the flatter-looking ground, giving the swatch a softly dimensional, plush appearance. With its substantial-looking texture, this fabric is best suited to upholstery where the abstract surface can be appreciated at close range.

How to use it

Use Truffle on a curved armchair, ottoman or occasional sofa, pairing its warm taupe tone with chalky creams, walnut wood and softly aged brass. Keep surrounding patterns simple so the looping relief remains the focal detail.

Use this warm, tactile taupe on statement upholstery where its raised looping pattern can catch the light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
