Kensington Plum
Brodsworth Fabric
Kensington Plum is a rich, dark purple with a softly brushed-looking surface and a low, even sheen. The colour sits in a moody plum register, giving the fabric depth without reading glossy or bright.

About this fabric
This colourway of Brodsworth has a distinctly dusky plum tone, with a muted red-violet base that looks deep and tailored in the light. The surface shows fine horizontal texturing, which gives the plain fabric subtle movement rather than a flat block of colour. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 140cm wide, it is a practical textile for furnishing projects where a clean, versatile plain is needed. With a 0cm pattern repeat, the focus stays on the rich shade and the lightly textured finish. Care code NQT1< is supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Kensington Plum on an accent chair, bench or dining seating to bring a more luxurious note to neutral interiors. It also works well with walnut, brass and soft stone tones, where the plum colour feels especially deep and refined.
Pairs well with warm woods and soft metallic accents for a rich, tailored finish.

Pairs well with
Kensington Plum is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
