About this fabric

This colourway shows a richly muted grape-purple ground with fine horizontal texture visible across the surface, creating a subtle sense of movement without any printed motif or repeat; the pattern repeat is 0cm. Woven in 100% polyester and measuring 140cm wide, it has a smooth, controlled look that sits comfortably in both furnishing and window schemes. The shade is cool-leaning plum with a shadowy depth, so it absorbs light more than it reflects it, giving the cloth a refined, understated presence. Care instructions are NQT1<.

How to use it

Use Kensington Grape to bring depth to a neutral room, especially alongside warm wood, antique brass or soft grey upholstery. Its plum tone feels strongest in good natural light and adds a smart, cocooning note to curtains, cushions or a clean-lined sofa.

A rich plum tone that works well across tailored upholstery and elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
