Bronte Linen

Darwin Collection FabricBRONTE

Bronte Linen reads as a calm, softly muted neutral with a fine linen-like surface and a gentle, washed cream tone. The plain weave gives the colour a natural, understated depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a pale linen cream with a subtle warm cast, softened further by the visible woven texture across the surface. It is a plain from the Darwin Collection by Ashley Wilde, made in India from 68% recycled polyester and 32% polyester. At 140cm wide and 320gsm, it has enough body to hang neatly while still feeling refined and light in appearance. With no horizontal pattern repeat, the emphasis stays on the texture and the quiet tonal movement in the weave. It is specified for drapes only, making it a good choice where a restrained, natural-looking neutral is needed at the window.

How to use it

Use Bronte Linen where you want a warm off-white that won’t feel stark against painted walls or pale woods. Its softened cream tone works especially well in relaxed interiors with oak, rattan, limestone and muted sage accents.

A quietly warm neutral that layers easily with timber, stone and deeper earth tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
