Bronte Mulberry

Darwin Collection FabricBRONTE

Bronte Mulberry is a deep, moody plain with a softly brushed-looking surface and a refined, cloth-like grain. The colour sits between plum and brown, giving the swatch a rich, dusky depth rather than a bright berry note.

About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Darwin Collection, this fabric is made in India and composed of 68% Recycled Polyester and 32% Polyester. It is specified for drapes only, with a 140cm width and a substantial 448gsm weight, which suits the full, composed hang suggested by the image. The surface reads as a fine plain weave with subtle cross-grain texture, giving the mulberry shade extra warmth and shadow. Its low-key, earthy purple tone feels sophisticated and contained, with no pattern to interrupt the colour.

How to use it

Use Bronte Mulberry for tailored curtains, interlinings, or statement drapes where the room needs colour without pattern. It works especially well with oatmeal, charcoal, walnut, and antique brass finishes.

Pair with pale neutrals or aged brass to let the rich plum tone stay the focus.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
