About this fabric

This substantial 464 gsm textile is woven with narrow horizontal stripes that remain delicate and closely layered across the surface. Its chalk base is tempered by muted taupe, warm grey and small darker woven accents, creating a quiet, lightly weathered colour effect rather than a sharp contrast. With a useable width of 141 cm, it is well suited to upholstery applications where a stable, hard-wearing-looking cloth is required. The 7.5 cm vertical and 0.7 cm horizontal pattern repeats correspond to the swatch’s tightly spaced linear construction, while the 22 threads-per-cm count reflects its compact weave.

How to use it

Pair the chalk and muted taupe tones with pale timber, natural stone and soft grey upholstery for a calm, coastal-neutral room. The fine stripe works particularly well on relaxed seating, benches or outdoor cushions where its low-contrast pattern can add texture without dominating.
