About this colour

At #CBCBC1, Platinum Grey reads as a pale grey with a subtle beige note, so it feels warmer than a blue-grey and cooler than a taupe. It reflects a fair amount of light, which helps it stay open and calm on walls rather than heavy or flat. In north-facing rooms it can look a little cooler and more mineral, while in south-facing light the warmth comes forward and the colour feels easier and more forgiving.
