Harlequin x Henry Holland Moire FabricHAF0583-15

Elsworthy Porcelain presents a softly luminous ivory ground with delicate, vertically arranged moiré lines and small oval forms. Its pale, cool-toned surface reads quiet and refined rather than stark white.

About this fabric

The woven pattern forms irregular vertical ripples, with repeated oval and eye-like motifs picked out in a subtly contrasting pale tone. At 161 gsm and 141 threads per cm, this is a fine, versatile cloth suited to both upholstery and drapery. The usable width is 148 cm, while the design repeats every 55.8 cm vertically and 50.8 cm horizontally. Light catches the raised-looking moiré effect gently, giving the porcelain shade depth without introducing strong colour contrast.

How to use it

Pair this soft porcelain ivory with chalky whites, pale greys and light natural timber for a calm, tailored room. It works particularly well on occasional upholstery or full-length curtains where its vertical rhythm can remain visible.

Use this cool, pale ivory moiré to bring subtle pattern and a polished finish to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
