Bisque Matcha

Harlequin x Henry Holland Fabrics FabricHAF0578-01

Bisque Matcha sets fine olive-green squiggle columns against a softly warm bisque ground. The closely spaced, irregular lines give this colourway a quietly graphic look without overpowering its light background.

About this fabric

Bisque Matcha pairs a warm, softly chalked bisque ground with narrow olive-green, hand-drawn-looking squiggles arranged in orderly vertical columns. The low-contrast pairing keeps the lively linework muted rather than vivid, while the olive marks add an earthy green lift to the cream field. At 261 gsm and 134 cm usable width, this mid-weight textile is suited to both upholstery and drapery; its 42 threads per cm indicate a closely constructed cloth. The pattern repeats every 57.5 cm vertically and 66.7 cm horizontally, so the regular spacing remains a clear part of the design across a larger cut.

How to use it

Use Bisque Matcha on a tailored occasional chair, dining seat or pair of cushions where its bisque warmth can soften timber and stone. For curtains, the small olive squiggles create restrained movement while keeping the room light and calm.

Use the warm bisque ground and muted olive linework to bring gentle graphic character to seating, cushions or relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
