Marble Wave Porcelain

Harlequin x Henry Holland Fabrics FabricHAF0590-04

Marble Wave Porcelain pairs a quiet porcelain ground with slender taupe lines that drift vertically across the cloth. The close, organic pattern has a softly marbled appearance, with subtle tonal variation rather than sharp contrast.

About this fabric

At 530gsm, this is a substantial woven fabric suited to upholstery, with a usable width of 131cm. Its ivory base keeps the colourway light and cool, while the pale taupe pattern adds definition without becoming dominant. The irregular wave motif repeats every 24cm vertically and 16.5cm horizontally, creating a consistent but naturally fluid rhythm across a larger piece. A thread count of 32 threads per centimetre supports the fabric’s visibly dense, tactile surface.

How to use it

Use this porcelain colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its cool ivory ground can brighten the room. Pair it with chalky whites, pale oak and soft taupe accents to echo the gentle contrast of the woven wave.

A substantial ivory-and-taupe woven upholstery fabric for calm, tailored seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
