Belari Woad/Harissa

Curios Weaves FabricSAF0441-02

Belari Woad/Harissa shows a tailored vertical stripe with cool woad-blue bands set against warm, sandy ground and slim harissa-red detailing. The result is orderly and graphic, but softened by the woven texture visible in the cloth.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Curios Weaves collection is a substantial textile, weighing 568 gsm with a 143 cm usable width and a tight 108 threads per cm. The close weave gives the stripes a clean edge while still leaving a tactile, cloth-like surface visible across the swatch. Woad blue is the dominant tone, lifted by cream and beige stripes and sharpened with narrow harissa accents that read as a warm terracotta-red. With a 4 cm vertical repeat and 12 cm horizontal repeat, the design feels disciplined and compact, suited to projects where pattern needs to stay refined rather than bold. No performance features are noted.

How to use it

Use it on an upholstered armchair, banquette or footstool where the blue ground can cool a scheme without losing warmth. It would also work well in tailored blinds or cushions alongside oak, painted white woodwork and earthy reds.

A crisp striped weave that brings tailored colour and quiet detail to classic seating or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
