About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Curios Fabrics collection is a substantial 428gsm textile with a usable width of 131cm, so it has enough body for versatile interior use. The pattern repeat is 44cm vertically and 43.5cm horizontally, which supports the large, flowing paisley layout seen across the swatch. Visually, the background reads as warm linen with gentle cream and stone motifs, while the Wedgwood blue outlines add a fresh, slightly chalky contrast. The overall effect is calm and decorative rather than bold, with the soft gold accents bringing a quiet warmth to the cooler palette.

How to use it

Use this colourway on armchairs, window seats or curtains where its linen ground and Wedgwood tracing can soften sharper architectural lines. It works especially well with pale oak, brushed brass and other muted blues for a layered, considered room scheme.

Pair with warm neutrals and aged brass to balance the cool Wedgwood accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
