Botswana Ebony

Serengeti Collection FabricBOTSWANA

Botswana Ebony pairs a soft ivory ground with a striking ebony leopard repeat, giving the fabric a bold but balanced monochrome look. The spotted cats sit clearly across the cloth, creating a lively conversational pattern with strong visual rhythm.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Botswana Ebony is specified for drapes only and has a practical 141cm width, with a 31cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat. The design shows reclining and prowling leopards in a dark ebony print, set against a light ivory background that keeps the overall effect crisp rather than heavy. At 353 grams per linear metre, the cloth reads as a substantial decorative drapery rather than a lightweight sheer. The contrast is clean and graphic, with the pale base lifting the animal motif so it feels fresh and tailored.

How to use it

This colourway works well as the focal point in a room with plain walls, especially where the monochrome animal pattern can add movement without introducing more colour. Pair it with warm woods, black accents or textured neutrals to keep the scheme sharp and composed.

Use for statement curtains or blinds where the monochrome leopard motif can stand out against calm walls.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
