About this fabric
This colourway of Ambroise has a warm pink-red tone that reads more rose and coral than true scarlet, so the pattern feels bright without becoming harsh. The woven surface has a slightly rustic, textured hand, which softens the formal damask motif and gives the cloth a relaxed elegance. It is made from 56% Cotton, 16% Viscose, 12% Linen, 11% Acrylic and 5% Polyester, and the approximate width is 139cm with a vertical repeat of 64cm and horizontal repeat of 34cm. The balance of natural fibres and texture makes the pattern feel substantial enough for furnishing use while still retaining a decorative, textile-led character.
