Vasco Taupe

Vasco FabricL9504-09

Vasco Taupe is a quietly tailored plain with a dry, textural surface and a warm brown-taupe cast. The weave reads close and even, with a natural linen slub that keeps the colour from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in 53% linen, 33% recycled cotton, 11% polyester and 3% other fibres, Vasco has a grounded, tactile handle that suits both upholstery and soft furnishings. The 147cm approximate width gives good coverage for larger projects, while the zero repeat confirms a clean, unobtrusive plain. In this Taupe colourway, the shade sits between mushroom and milk chocolate, with a soft earthy depth rather than a grey cast. The surface catches light in a subtle way, so the cloth feels refined but not glossy, and the weave remains visibly open and natural.

How to use it

Use this taupe on relaxed seating, tailored dining chairs or Roman blinds where a warm, restrained neutral is needed. It pairs especially well with timber, putty, charcoal and aged brass.

A warm taupe base that feels tailored and easy to pair with oak, linen and deep neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
