Taxus Linen

Taxus FabricL9154-04

Taxus Linen is a quietly textured neutral with a dry, linen-led surface and a soft taupe tone. The weave reads as calm and natural, with gentle variation that gives the colourway depth without a visible pattern.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted taupe-beige ground with fine crosshatch texture and subtle tonal flecking, so the surface feels woven rather than flat. The 52% linen content is visible in the softly slubbed, lightly rustic character, while the viscose and cotton help smooth the handle and keep the look refined. At approximately 137cm wide and with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it is an easy, non-directional fabric for tailored schemes. The neutral warmth sits between stone and oatmeal, making it an adaptable choice for both upholstery and drapery where an honest, natural texture is wanted.

How to use it

Use it on an upholstered sofa, bench or headboard to add warmth without introducing a strong colour statement. It also works well as curtains in a light-filled room, where the taupe tone will soften glare and sit comfortably with timber, plaster and aged metal finishes.

An understated neutral that brings a natural, tailored calm to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
