Ridley Matcha

Harlequin x Henry Holland Weaves FabricHAF0595-03

Ridley Matcha brings a deep, earthy green ground to the Ridley design, overlaid with narrow, irregular vertical lines that ripple across the cloth. Dark olive, moss and pale khaki tones shift subtly as the textured weave catches the light.

About this fabric

This substantial woven fabric weighs 760gsm and has a usable width of 138cm, making it particularly well suited to upholstery. Its pattern repeats every 38cm vertically and 35cm horizontally, creating a continuous field of closely spaced, wavering stripes rather than a rigid linear effect. The matcha colourway is muted and cool-leaning, with near-black green lines adding depth against softer olive and khaki threads. At 65.7 threads per centimetre, the close construction gives the surface a richly filled, tactile appearance.

How to use it

Use Ridley Matcha on a sofa, headboard or deep occasional chair where its mossy olive tone can anchor warm timber, natural linen and brushed brass. The vertical movement works especially well on generously proportioned upholstered forms, adding rhythm without a formal geometric feel.

A dense, tactile olive weave with sinuous vertical movement for upholstered seating and statement occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
